Samuel Salminen (1996, FI) is an Amsterdam based graphic and information designer and researcher.

In his practice he investigates the relationship between language, power, and spatial representation — using typography and design as tools to expose and intervene in systems of control, erasure and territorial inscription. His work spans editorial design, type design and web development, and is often situated at the intersection of the political and the typographic.

Sebastia is an 800m² public floor and artwork by artist Jumana Manna, commissioned by KORO for Norway's New Government Quarter in Oslo.

The floor is composed of ruins, leftovers, and donated stone from over 100 Norwegian municipalities — material rescued from demolitions and excesses of public infrastructure. Named after a Palestinian archaeological site, the title deliberately reverses the pervasive presence of "Oslo" in Palestine by bringing a representation of Palestine into the Norwegian capital.
